A family trade.
A personal standard.
Based in Haddam. Built on years in the trades, and on my father's example.
Why the work looks like this.
My father was a mason. I come from a family of tradesmen and business owners on his side, so working with my hands and owning the result have always been part of my life.
Bontract LLC is a young company, but I have been subcontracting for about 15 years, mostly in carpentry. Timber framing, renovations, additions, and a lot of older homes where understanding what is already there matters as much as what comes next.
Today the work is renovation, repair and handyman jobs, mostly residential, with select commercial projects considered. Masonry is limited to repointing on chimneys and steps.
I believe in a fair price and doing the job right the first time. The number one priority is that you are happy with the final product.
years in carpentry
towns served
generation in the trades
owner on site, every job
Three things you can count on.
Same care, any size
A small repair gets the same attention as the finish work on a bigger project.
Clear before it starts
Understand the work, agree on a fair price, and set the scope before a tool comes out.
Your result matters
The job is more than the work itself. You being happy with it is the finish line.
